All About School Uniforms
School uniforms are an inevitable part of schooling in most countries. While the West tends to be quite liberal and most schools do not prescribe anything like that, the schools in East are not so. They suggest that the use of school uniforms brings about an uniformity and equality amongst the upcoming citizens. Schools in Germany are quite well-known for their strict adherence to the rules. Most public schools in the world have some kind of an uniform. The most common type is the shirt and the trouser for boys. This is often completed by a tie in most countries and even a blazer or a jacket especially in cold countries. In the case of girls, it usually is a blouse or a shirt with a skirt. This varies and in many countries girls are also let to wear what the boys wear. It has always been a point of contention but nevertheless, each school has a take on its choice. Of late, the concept of school uniforms has been challenged by many. Some point out that there is no academical effect to the concept of school uniforms. Some say that it only prepares the students for an idealistic world which is not excellent.
